ASANAS

Yoga works on different asanas (postures) which focuses on different body parts along with pranayama ( breathing) that helps integrate all physical and mental aspects of the practice.

BALANCE

These different breathing techniques assist in the alignment of your body and helps balance your chakras – Chakras are seven centres that are in alignment with your spine which includes the crown, third eye, throat, heart, solar plexus, sacral and root chakra which is the spiritual power in the human body

WELLBEING

Yoga is a state of enlightenment in oneself or a sense of being one , connected to the universe on all levels.

About your instructor

My journey and where I was born started in Kerala, South Of India. In 1994 my interest in yoga began and my curiosity turned into a passion.

During this time of exploration, I attended yoga classes and was teaching myself more about yoga through books and classes. In 2002 I was attending yoga classes on a regular basis and my knowledge was expanding. In 2004 I completed my teachers training in Arsha Yoga Vidya Peetam and

Shivanada Yoga and Vedanta Center Kerala

In 2006 till 2010 I worked in a hospital where I was a Yoga therapist and a Yoga instructor in the alternative medicine and Physio department in Saad Specialist Hospital Saudi Arabia. During this time conducting Yoga seminars for the CME (Continue Medical Education program).

I moved to the UK in 2011 for an opportunity to teach Yoga and introduce the traditional way of teaching straight from the root of India. Teaching and practising yoga is a passion of mine and sharing it with others in a different country and expanding my knowledge about people and how they practise yoga is a passion of mine.

The traditional yoga teaching and what my Master has taught me is something that no textbook or any video can show you. I want to deliver my knowledge and experience of the Asamum life.

During my life in India I had the opportunity to stay at a few asamums to get a better and more meaningful understanding of the yoga life, which is what I would like bring to my class and share with you.

More than any postures or yoga knowledge I can give, I would like for you to come with an open heart and be aware of your inner senses and emotions. We will practise yoga as well as get in tune with how you feel and if anything is lacking it will be easy to identify by what I can reveal to you in my yoga practices.

Ideally, the classes will put you at ease and make it easier for you to practise at home and introduce yoga into your daily routine.

Yoga will be a practise and a way of life.
